I am sure those who frequent Kemang will not fail to see the big white building with a huge signage- Miracle Aesthetic Clinic. For those who follow my blog, you will know that I am always on a lookout for a nice spa or beauty/facial places. Just as I was about to check out the clinic, Miracle Aesthetic Clinic dropped me a note to try out their treatments; great timing isn't it? :) Many of us will probably be very skeptical about trying aesthetic treatments in Jakarta or anywhere in Indonesia, after all Jakarta is not famous like Bangkok for beauty treatments. So on the Saturday before I left Jakarta for our holiday, I dragged Hubby G with me to check out Miracle Aesthetic Clinic. They offered a consultation before trying any treatments including facial. Alas I found a good spa in Jakarta that offers a pleasant yet more 'clinical' facial treatment. It means the treatment consist of cleansing, steaming, extraction, exfoliating, mask/serum according to skin type and needs. And yes I am going to share this with you. I realised that the facial treatment offered in most spas here are more for relaxation rather than functional- the procedures usually only consist of cleansing, exfoliating and a mask. However what I really wanted is to get my face really purged off of all possible sebums, blackheads, whiteheads, etc etc..you get the picture.  So if you are anything like me, you would really appreciate the facial treatments offered here at Martha Tilaar where their own housebrand facial products are used. There's no lack of spas in Jakarta, therefore the task is to differentiate a good spa from an average spa. Spas in Jakarta are also relatively cheap as compared to cities like Singapore and New York but one would still want the best value(both quality and experience) for the money you pay and also safe products ( especially facial products). For those who know me, I am a very lazy beauty; I love taking shortcuts for my beauty routines. For those who are similar, I am going to share how you could do a quick beauty fix/fast facial in the comforts of your own home. This suits most skin types as it is basically cleansing and hydrating. Just FYI, I have dry-sensitive skin. Unless you have very bad acne skin, you may want to consult your skin therapist before trying this at home. You will need (the least): 1. Facial scrub/exfoliator 2. Mud/clay mask 3. Hydrating mask Additional (Good to have): 1. Oxygen mask 2. A blackhead remover tool/ cream 3.
