Hidden Drinking Place: Happy Cow

A friend invited us to this place; we would otherwise never have found it. I was initially seduced by the 'barbecue buffet' however was disappointed when the food ran out within an hour( all I got was some fries)!

The place was pleasant in a way because it was so unexpected. When I stepped foot into the area, it felt as though I've been let into a little secret. There was a live band playing which added to the ambience. I don't mean to be critical but you can't expect fantastic singing skills though. The owner was really friendly; making his rounds, introducing himself and occasionally cracking jokes.

There was a mini pool right in the middle where I think only kids would find appealing to take a dip or unless one is really drunk. I mean it is a nice touch to have a cute lit pool but I think it is really just for aesthetics purposes?

Feeling adventurous, we tried the local beer. Not too bad!

Overall
6.5/10. I would come back here with a group of friends if we want something very laidback, you know like having a nice chat over beer while wearing flip-flops and bermudas. It is quite a good spot for people who are living downtown and want something more rugged.

We were heading to church at IES (International English Service), when we realised that both routes that the GPS recommended were all blocked. We got down and decided to check it out. I was going through all my posts and realised that there isn't a single one on fashion. It's a little cliche since the blog is named Mummynista... Hence I decided that I should probably start blogging a little more on fashion and beauty and not just food.
